Equality For All. Down with DOMA and Prop 8
Today, I am proud of Americans. A historic day for the U.S. as the Supreme Court rules DOMA unconstitutional. This means that legally married gay couples will get the same federal benefits as straight couples (it’s about time)! Prop 8 has also been struck down, allowing the door to open in California, once again, for same sex marriage!
Seriously, I don’t know what America is so afraid of. Same-sex marriage could very well save their economy. Do you know how much money would go into the wedding industry? Crazy, crazy amounts.

All of this couldn’t have come at a better time since Toronto is celebrating Pride Week right now and having our annual Pride Parade this Sunday!
